Pick a time to start a countdown. We started at 5 pm and had a balloon for every hour till midnight. You could also try every half hour or end your countdown earlier than midnight if you have younger kids.

Remember 2022 by creating a time capsule with your family members. Have everyone find 3 things that they want to remember from the past year. Then put them all in a box marked 2022. Put the box away and wait 10 years or more to open it again.
